This was an ad campaign that lasted over 2 years and portrayed Scott Salisbury Homes as not just any builder but an artist and that the quality of workmanship was almost artisan in approach.
The symbol of the Koru was used as a basis for her logo and was significant to Kylie and her business for a variety of reasons: It is a significant Maori symbol which means new beginnings, new life, growth and harmony. Not only are these new beginnings for Kylie, but her business focuses on growth in body awareness and healthy lifestyle.
Most needlepoint crafts are very traditional in their designs and marketing but Studio Stitches wanted to standout as contemporary bold designs. Simplicity and flexibility was the key with a brand name and colour scheme that could be adapted to many uses over packaging, postcards, advertising and digital.
Starting out on his own Tim wasn't certain how far his business would develop and needed a logo that could change when his needs changed i.e. if he broadened into other areas of the health industry or he decided to take on other specialist practitioners. So I developed a concept with these possibilities considered and he was happy.
It's a Hoax started as light eclectic Indy pop but as the group progressed a more serious sound developed, and the branding changed with it. The brand initially was bright and colourful and revolved around an upside down apostrophe to enhance the meaning of the bands name & their predilection for an unusual, eclectic sound. Although their sound changed it remained unusual & eclectic, so the apostrophe remained & has become a consistent link throughout.
An unusual name made this a challenge to develop concepts for. This was to be an Online Law Advice Service which was a new business proposition developed by young Law students. So the logo had to be in keeping with the latest trends in logo design, reflect the "online" aspect of the business as well as make direct link to Law, hence the brackets.
Signage can be a byproduct of branding or can be specific in its use i.e. for information, decoration or advertising.
